Cali Help is an informational resource app that helps people find public and trusted California support resources.

Overview

The current version of Cali Help does not require account creation and does not ask users to submit personal forms inside the app.

Information Stored on Device

Cali Help stores basic preferences on your device so the app works the way you expect.

  • Selected language
  • Selected county
  • Saved favorites
  • Larger text setting
  • Dark mode setting
  • Reduced motion setting

These settings stay on your device unless they are copied by your own backup tools or operating-system backup services.

The app also caches the latest resource list and opening message on your device so they can remain available if a network request fails. Clear the app's storage or uninstall it to remove this local data.

External Links and Calls

When you tap a phone number or website in Cali Help, you leave the app and connect with a third-party agency, provider, or public website.

Those third parties control their own privacy practices and data handling.

Network Requests and Embedded Videos

The app requests the current resource list and opening message from www.calihelp.com. These requests send your IP address and standard connection information to the website's hosting service. Cali Help does not use this information to create an in-app account or advertising profile.

An opening message may contain a YouTube or Vimeo video. Its thumbnail can load from the video provider when the message is displayed. If you choose to play it inside the app, the embedded player can receive your IP address, device or browser identifiers, playback interactions, and technical diagnostics. The provider may use this information to deliver and measure video content and ads under its own privacy policy. You can use Cali Help without playing a video. No Cali Help Accounts

The current version of Cali Help does not provide:

  • Sign-in or user accounts
  • In-app payments
  • Private messaging
  • Advertising profiles managed by Cali Help
  • Case management or secure document upload

Do not enter private or sensitive information into app search fields or notes. Cali Help is not designed to store confidential case information.
